This teaching resource (lesson plan, presentation slides and worksheets) for ages 6 to 8 elaborates on the idea of values as a relative concept. It will help pupils understand the consequences of having less or more money by knowing that value is relative.

By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:

  • Recognise that people in different countries have different incomes.
  • Understand that value is relative (with regard to income).
With just 5-10 minutes of preparation needed, the lesson plan consists of:
