This teaching resource (lesson plan, presentation slides and worksheets) for ages 6 to 8 will help pupils learn how money is spent, based on needs and desires.

Using role play, they will become familiar with how adults spend money on household expenses. By the end of the lesson, they should be able to use reasoning and decision making to differentiate between needs and wants.

By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
